RIME

The most common multiplier priority system is the RIME (Relative Importance of Maintenance Expenditure)system. It uses two rating scales: one to rate criticality of equipment (in iMaint and in PMC, this is the Asset Priority)and the other to rate classification of maintenance work (in iMaint and in PMC, this is the Procedure Priority). These two scales range from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest priority. When the machine criticality code (Asset Priority) is multiplied by the work classification code (Procedure Priority), the resulting RIME Index number provides the priority for scheduling the repair, and displays on the work order as the Work Order Priority.
