Logging on to iMaint
There are many ways to start iMaint. At some sites, iMaint has been installed and setup so that when your workstation is turned on, you are directly routed to the iMaint login screen. At other sites, you start iMaint by clicking on the iMaint icon on your desktop. Or, you may prefer to access iMaint through the Start button on your desktop toolbar. However you wish to access iMaint, you will need to log into the application with a unique user ID and password. The login window will display the iMaint product and version number in the upper left corner. A link to our service agreement can be accessed by clicking on the EUSA link. And, if enabled by your system administrator, the Forget Password link can help you reset. If you have the caps lock on, you will be notified. Remember the password is case sensitive.
The following example will walk you through logging into iMaint.

Click on the Options button to display two drop down menu fields for selecting the Server and Site.
The Server is the computer or server on which you installed the iMaint application.
The Site field is used to direct the user to the appropriate database. iMaint allows you to use more than one database. This is helpful when you have more than one department or location and you wish to keep the data separate. Create individual databases during installation to store the information separately. iMaint allows you to install three distinct and separate demo databases for you to explore. These demo database include iMaint_M, containing data specific to the manufacturing industry, iMaint_L for General Fleets and iMaint_F for general Facilities industries. These demo databases must be loaded during the install process. To access them, simply, key iMaint_M, iMaint_L or iMaint_F in the Site field.

Once you have populated the login window with all the necessary information press enter to access the application.
Forgot Password
From the login window, you may enable the ability to click on a link called Forgot Password for users to reset their passwords. This must be set up using the Site form, configuring iMaint to work with email and by having a valid email address on the User Profile record. When enabled, iMaint will send a random, numeric password to the email address provided on the User Profile. The user can then use the temporary, random password to log into iMaint and immediately change their password to something more suitable.
Main Menu
The main iMaint Navigation window will appear. Use the Navigation Tree to access the individual modules. Clicking on the iMaint logo will open the DPSI webpage, and clicking on the Support email address will launch a new email to our Support team.
