Countries
The Countries window is used to enter new valid country information for contact addresses. iMaint is pre-populated with 243 countries. Country contains the following fields:
Note: Labels with red text denote required fields. You must enter information in these fields.

Description |

Country ID |
A unique identifier for the country of the contact. In this case the ID will be the country abbreviation. Country ID accepts numbers or letters (alphanumeric) up to 25 characters, including spaces. |

Country Description |
Description of the name of the country where the contact is located. Users can enter a new description directly into this field. Country Description accepts letters or numbers (alphanumeric) up to 255 characters, including spaces. |

Comments |
Any additional information about the Country which may print on reports or be used in a search capacity, but has no functional use in iMaint. Information in this field must be text only with a limit of 40,000 characters. |
