Work Order Asset/Procedure Downtime Sub Tab
Unlike other work orders tabs that allow you to enter both estimated and actual values, the downtime tab allows you to enter only actual downtime. You can add, change, or delete a downtime line item as long as the work order is still editable. All necessary updates are made by the system. Downtime occurs when equipment is shut down for repair or maintenance purposes. The Downtime sub tab tracks information related to the specific asset/procedure line item. Unlike the other sections of the Work Orders window that allow the user to enter both estimated and actual values, the Downtime sub tab allows the entry of actual downtime only.
Note: Labels with red text denote required fields. You must enter information in these fields.

Date |
The date the downtime occurred. |
|
Downtime Type |
Indicates the type of downtime being applied. The valid options are: Task (default) Other The Downtime Type controls which Total, Task or Other is added to the asset/procedure line item and the work order as a whole. You may add multiple line items if you have both types of downtime. |

Downtime Hours |
The number of downtime hours for this line item. This field accepts numbers (000,000.00) and cannot be negative. |

Comments |
Any additional information related to the downtime of the line item. This field accepts numbers or letters (alphanumeric) up to 40,000 characters, including spaces. |

The following fields appear under the Downtime grid. These are the same values which display on the Asset/Procedure Totals tab, and are included here for user reference. |

Estimated Task Downtime |
The estimated number of hours equipment is expected to be down to perform all tasks on an Assets/Procedure line item. This field is automatically calculated by the system and is read-only. |

Estimated Other Downtime |
The estimated number of hours equipment is expected to be down for "Other" downtime. This field is automatically calculated by the system and is read-only. |

Estimated Total Downtime |
Calculated sum of both Estimated Task Down time and Estimated Other Downtime for an Assets/Procedure line item. This field is automatically calculated by the system and is read-only. |

Actual Task Downtime |
The actual downtime for all combinations on a work order which is "Task" related downtime. This field is automatically calculated by the system and is read-only. |

Actual Other Downtime |
The total downtime for all asset/procedure combinations on a work order which is "Other" related downtime. This field is automatically calculated by the system and is read-only. |

Actual Total Downtime |
The total downtime for all asset/procedure combinations on a work order (Actual Downtime + Other Downtime). This field is automatically calculated by the system and is read-only. |
