Crafts
A Craft is a classification of a type of work, trade, or certification. The Crafts subtab is used to track valid contact-related craft information for employees and other labor resources. Contact resources can have an unlimited number of crafts.
Note: Labels with red text denote required fields. You must enter information in these fields.

Description |

Craft ID |
A unique identifier for the trade associated with each employee and labor entry. Craft ID accepts numbers or letters (alphanumeric) up to 25 characters in length, including spaces. |

Craft Description |
Description of the craft associated with the employee or labor entry. Examples of crafts would include 'Electrician', 'Lubrication Specialist', 'Welder' and 'Mechanic'. Craft Description accepts numbers or letters (alphanumeric) up to 255 characters in length, including spaces. |

Primary Craft |
Primary craft of the contact. There can be only one primary craft for each contact. |

Over-Ride Base Rate |
Used for labor costing. A resource may have more than one craft. Information in this field must be in currency format ($0000.00) and cannot be negative. |

Comments |
Any additional information about the craft which may print on reports or be used in a search capacity, but has no functional use in iMaint. Information in this field must be text only with a limit of 40,000 characters. |
