Work Order Asset/Procedure Meters Sub Tab

When working with a specific Asset/Procedure line item that tracks a meter value, use the Meter sub tab to record any change in the value.

Fields

Description

Meter Type ID

A unique identifier for the meter type related to an asset/procedure combination. This field accepts numbers or letters (alphanumeric) up to 25 characters, including spaces.

Primary Meter

This is an indicator as to which meter is the primary meter for this asset procedure combination. Only one meter may be selected, although multiple meters may be listed.

Meter UOM

The Unit of Measure for the Meter Type applied to an asset/procedure line item. Meter UOM is calculated by the system automatically and is read-only. This field is disabled if there is no Meter Type ID specified for the line item.

Meter When Scheduled

The meter value at which a schedule should be performed. The default for this field is the schedule's Meter Due calculated value, but can be changed by the user. Disabled if there is no Meter Type ID specified for this line item. This field accepts numbers (000,000.00) and cannot be negative.

Meter When Started

The meter value at which a work order asset/procedure line item was started. Disabled if there is no Meter Type ID specified for this line item. This field accepts numbers (000,000.00) and cannot be negative.

Meter When Completed

The meter value at the time a work order asset/procedure line item was completed. Disabled if there is no Meter Type ID specified for this line item. This field accepts numbers (000,000.00) and cannot be negative.

This value updates the schedule records Meter Last Done value and the Current Asset Meter value when the work order is completed, but only if the value is greater than the value in the other fields.

If there are conflicting records, the user will be prompted as to how they wish to proceed. If the user selects Yes the process continues to update the Asset and Schedule records with new meter value.  If the user selects No, the process stops.  If there is no Schedule/Meter combination linked to the Work Order, and the user enters a lower meter, a message will alert them to go to the Asset form to enter a lower meter too. This will not update Distance Traveled.

Meter When Last Completed

The meter value at which a work order asset/procedure combination was last performed, regardless of the Schedule ID. Disabled if there is no Meter Type ID specified for this line item. This field accepts numbers (000,000.00) and cannot be negative.

Meter When Cancelled

The meter value at the time a work order asset/procedure line item was cancelled. Disabled if there is no Meter Type ID specified for this line item. This field accepts numbers (000,000.00) and cannot be negative.
