Part Quantity Search
Part Quantity Search enables users to search for parts and view detailed storage location and quantity-related information. Users can select any part from the search results and perform an inventory adjustment on it. The Part Quantity Search window contains a Search tab with a Part ID lookup field and the result grid. The Multi-Site tab allows for you to see parts across sites. Adjustment buttons are located at the bottom of the form, for each adjustment that can be performed on a part. Use the Filter icon on the ribbon or search by Part ID lookup to find the records you wish to view.
If the user enters anything in the Part ID field, then the search is immediately performed and the matching part(s) displays in the results grid. Users can skip over this field and create a more complex search by using the filter grid which appears under the Part ID.
Users must enter at least one search criteria or Part ID. A search for all parts is not permitted. If using the filter field instead of the Part ID field, the user must press the Search button on the toolbar, use the pull-down menus or shortcut key to initiate the search.
