User Defined
The User Defined tab is where the user enters, updates, and displays information custom defined for assets, asset types, contacts, work orders, parts, or projects. User Defined fields are defined by the System Administrator or Maintenance Manager in Utilities>Management>User Defined Fields.

Field Name |
Specifies the label defined by the user (e.g., Color). This field is read-only. |

User Data |
Accepts and displays a value relevant to the user-defined field (e.g., Blue). |

Unit of Measure |
Specifies the unit of measure for numeric user defined fields (e.g., inches). This field is read-only. |
|
Comments |
Accepts and displays comments about the user defined value (e.g., blue motors are 50 HP). This field is read-only. |
